Business visit visa / Work visa

Foreign nationals traveling to Indonesia on business may use the Visa-on-Arrival (Visa Kunjungan Saat Kedatangan), the Business Visit Visa (Visa Kunjungan), or enter in visa-exempt status (Bebas Visa Kunjungan), depending on their nationality, frequency of visit and intended length of stay. Visas-on-Arrival are issued at an Indonesian port of entry, generally permit an initial stay of up to 30 days, and are valid for a single entry.

Foreign nationals who are eligible for a Visa-on-Arrival but whose intended stay exceeds 30 continuous days should secure a Business Visit Visa prior to entry, which allows single or multiple entries and generally permits a stay of up to 60 days. Business Visit Visa nationals are generally permitted a stay of 60 days.

The standard work authorization in Indonesia is the Work Permit, collectively, the Foreign Manpower Utilization Plan (RPTKA) and the Notification (Notifikasi), which the foreign national typically holds along with the Limited Stay Permit (ITAS).

Special short-term work categories, such as the Emergency Work Permit and the Short-Term Work Permit, are also available.
