Belarus

Business visit visa / Work visa

Business visitors to Belarus can use a Short-Term Visa C valid for up to 90 calendar days, or a Long-Term Visa D valid for up to one year unless visa exempt based on their nationality. Business visitors are limited to a stay of 90 cumulative days per year from the date of their first entry to Belarus, regardless of the visa type held. Visas can be obtained at a consular post or upon arrival at Minsk National Airport for eligible applicants.

The main work authorization category is the Special Work Permit, suitable for locally hired staff, combined with a Temporary Residence Permit. The Special Work Permit can be issued for one year, or two years for highly qualified employees. The permit can be extended.

Nationals of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia do not require a work permit; however, they must secure either a local employment contract or a civil work agreement.
